Isn’t she cute in the little dress with a big pink bow? I was so surprised to see so many angels giving gifts on all these old cards, but why should I be? God gives good gifts and His angels always travel with the Holy Spirit. Though they may not all be tangible gifts, they are all more precious from Him. Who wouldn’t like to have an angel drop in with a gift, perhaps, this year.

How lovely a midnight angel to sing over us and God’s creation. As we celebrate this year and give Him our cares, allowing God to fight the battles, let us sing wonderful carols and hymns of praise.

What a pretty angel in a coral gown winging her way to a small town or perhaps the little church to bring a Christmas tree. And angels are all around, there are still shepherds in many places and then there are all of us who have followed the glorious star to become wiser by seeking the Prince of Peace.

Children’s voices sweet and clear, charm the guardian angel’s ear. In this case, charm could be acceptable but would not have been my choice of words. How sweet is this card though, and what about being at church and having and angel playing the organ for you? I would love that!
Maybe, they are singing Angels We Have Heard On High, there probably are many angel musicians and singers, in church, and performing and even with as we sing. We may not see them but it is so nice to know they are there. I hope you are enjoying these lovely old Victorian Christmas cards as much as do.

Kneeling angels who inspire,
Kneeling angels from the choir.
Lovely angels sing so sweet,
Worship at the Savior’s feet.
Sing Christmas carols and a hymn.
We are sure to be blessed by them.
Sing for all to hear,
Fill our hearts with Christmas cheer.
Sing, and stars will shine over the earth.
Sing about His glorious birth.
Kneeling angels, it is our prayer.

The little Prince of Peace with his mother and Joseph, and an angel kneeling in adoration is a perfect Christmas card. And also the lamb, as one day He would be the perfect Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world. And now we are the beneficiaries of His will and testament, the Isaiah 53 passage fulfilled.
Isaiah ws looking ahead saying by His stripes or wounds we are healed but 1 Peter 2:24 says were. he has already paid a high price, if we can believe that love. His healing power is still there. Praying for a healthy and Merry Christmas.

I trimmed this one from Pinterest a little but isn’t it beautiful, the guardian angel hovers over the children, who have perhaps lost their way home because of the snow. May angels guide us to Jesus the is Christmas, and all year.
