On Angel's Wings

Another of our vintage angels, she is striking and has lovely wings, a crown and star above her head. But she also has a concerned, perhaps even stern look on her face. Though she is from a least a hundred years ago, angels were busy then and in centuries past.

I prayed for angels to be charges as we have been facing storms and fires, they are there for our protection. So plead the blood of Jesus as a believer and know that angels are work on our behalf as we believe God for protection in these  uncertain and trying times.

May God bless and protect you as we continue to enjoy His vintage angels both photographs and the real ones He puts into our paths and prescence.

This is an old drawing that is a good reminder to say your prayers as a child and even as a grown up. How often we can forget to pray, but the Bible says we should ” Pray without ceasing. ” 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we should always be mindful of the Lord and His willingness to help us.

Even if it may not appear like it or that He may not be listening, Hei right there in the heart of every believers, so talk to Him, any time of the day or night.

Guardian angels are popular, from the turn of the century, here is one guarding a child, and a still in a cradle even as  a toddler. How funny to see these, and the way people lived. I know so many people who don’t even know what a playpen is for. The dog is looking awake to see what is going.

They are there even if we don’t see them, babies and dogs can, I have seen both watching them.

This a cute picture, colored a little. A child in prayer is being watched by an angel from behind the curtain. I thought it was funny that her shoes look a little big. What a sweet reminder of God’s love for us, that He gives us guardian angels to watch over us.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

These three angels are obviously gearing up for choir practice. It is a good reminder that every day is a gift from the Lord.

This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118: 24

I sing a lot. How about you? God loves to hear us sing to Him.

Wouldn’t love to have received this in the mail a hundred plus years ago? What a beautiful rose angel girl to brighten your day. She could have been a post card, or even a Christmas card, if this image had been cropped. I didn’t do anything to her. With the warm sepia tones, I’d say she just about perfect.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 2 Corinthians 2:15

If you are like me you could use an angel about now. Surely these two are heaven sent. But while our perception of angels is often a soft, cherubic, or even a feather and fluffy idea, they are very powerful and are always out carrying out the commands of the Most High God.

Read Psalm 91, He has given His angels charge over you. He gives them orders concerning you, and angels always travel within the Holy Spirit, so if you are a believer in Christ today, relax take a breath, He knows our needs before we even ask, and has angels ready to do His will.

May the scent of His presences be with you today and the fragrance of His live, and powerful and peaceful angels, along with, these two that just cute reminders of what is truly heaven sent.

Isn’t she just gorgeous? I will be on the lookout for more. I have seen a few very pretty one but they were on another computer. Enjoy you day and the harpist. I can almost hear her beautiful music.

Actually, she is not an angel the cloud does look like a wing though. I just noticed.
