Vintage Angel

Since I have been blogging and creating new ones, I have not been post on all of them. I thought I would like to post some more angels. Here is a lovely postcard that I lightened and put the vignette around. Looks kind of like a cloud for doesn’t it?She’s just beautiful, isn’t she?

I hope you enjoy a few of the vintage angels I have found and I will keep looking,.

Cherubs

To end our month of love and angels, hearts and doves. One last painting by Enric Llorens de Grau 1903. On Angel’s Wings will return soon but please join me still on FB. Other blogs will still be up.

In the meantime remember,

I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3

Maidens

More maidens and a muse of sorts, I don’t think it is Pan, as we are not into mythology. For our study we are calling angels that are sent by the Lord, not the mischievous ones that are associated with Cupid and false gods.

Cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

The Swing

I know I promised doves snd and angels but this was so cute when I found it, The Swing by Hans Zatzka. Reproductions are being sold and it is such a lighthearted and joyful painting. While some of his work may be more toward mythology and this may indeed be a Cupid, which we are just claiming to be a cherub with no intentions of mischief.

The LORD will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. Psalm 121:

Thy Kingdom Come

And thy will be done as well, we should pray the Lord’s pray. It is a very effective one. I found this beautiful old card and had to trim it and fix a few spots but it is wonderful , a lovely lady, angels and a dove. Does it get any better, yes, it does when Jesus comes.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.

Amen.
